Jackson Memorial
From 1918, Jackson has been serving the South Florida community, offering nationally-ranked healthcare to the Florida’s men, women, and children. With over 12,000 employees in the Jackson Health System, well over 2,000 beds, 5 separate hospitals, and the largest children’s hospital in the southeast US, security was a concern.
Tasked with designing and implementing a system that would protect not only the employees of the system, but also the patients in the system. Tony Belotto and his team drafted a campus wide security system that integrated card access system, cameras, intercoms, and infant tagging. By building off of the integrated card access system, the network became a seamless unit for the hard-working staff in it.
